Brainerd beauty restored! This weekend I tackled a gorgeous log cabin nestled right on Bay Lake. These log homes, are made out of a concrete material giving it a true log look, but eliminates the need for staining and sealing, but they can get weathered by the elements. This one was no exception – years of Minnesota winters had left the logs looking tired, grimy and full of cobwebs.

Luckily, I'm well-versed in log cabin cleaning! I used a special technique that's gentle enough to protect the material while being strong enough to remove built-up dirt, cobwebs, and mildew. It's incredible how the character of the wood comes back to life with a good cleaning. The natural beauty of the logs really shone through once all that grime was gone.
